This Privacy Policy explains how UtilPix(“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use https://utilpix.com.
1. Images you upload
When you use a tool that processes an image, the file is uploaded to our servers (or a third-party AI processing provider, see Section 3) solely to perform the requested operation (e.g. background removal, compression, format conversion, resizing). Uploaded images and their processed results are automatically deleted from our servers shortly after processing. We do not use your uploaded images to train machine learning models, and we do not sell or share your images with third parties for marketing purposes.
2. Information we collect automatically
- Basic usage analytics (which tool was used, file size, processing time) tied to an anonymous, cookie-based session identifier — not a user account.
- Standard server logs (IP address, browser user agent) used for security, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.
- If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address until you unsubscribe.
3. Third-party service providers
We rely on the following categories of third-party services to operate UtilPix:
- AI image processing providers (e.g. remove.bg, Clipdrop, Replicate) — receive the specific image you submit, solely to perform the requested operation.
- Cloud storage (e.g. Cloudinary, AWS S3) — may be used to temporarily store images during processing.
- Google AdSense — displays advertising and may use cookies to personalize ads. See Google's own privacy policy for details on how it handles data.
- Analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) — collects aggregated, anonymized usage statistics.
4. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies: an anonymous session identifier to scope usage analytics and favorites without requiring an account, a theme preference cookie, and — if enabled — cookies set by Google AdSense and Analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some features may not work as expected.
5. Children's privacy
UtilPix is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Your rights
You may request deletion of any personal data we hold about you (such as a newsletter subscription) by contacting us at hello@utilpix.com.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
